The examination reforms committee in the college was established in 2019 with the purpose to improve sessional papers conducted by the college for the eligibility to university examinations. The college takes special interest informing the results of students to parents. To conduct teachers parents meeting for improvement in studies of students.

Objectives :

Examination Reforms Committee(ERC) has been created in the college to improve sessional examinations. Following are the important objectives of ERC.
  1. To study the existing examination system.
  2. To achieve sufficient transparency and accountability in examination system.
  3. To strengthen the examination process by making it more transparent.
  4. To maintain uniformity in all aspects of examinations i.e. question papers, award list, assessment, lecture statement etc.

Existing Examination System :

  1. The Institute conducts two unit tests per course per semester.
  2. Date-sheet displayed on notice board and circulated in all the departments.
  3. Examination are conducted on centralized basis under the supervision of Controller of examination. (Dr. Baljit Singh)
  4. Evaluation is done by concerned subject teacher. After evaluation, answer books are given back to students for their information.
  5. Award lists and lecture statements are prepared by all the departments and submitted to the controller of examination through HOD.
  6. Student grievances if any, are checked and solved by controller of examination.
  7. Special exams, if required, are conducted in case of medical leave, ineligibility etc.
