Establishment of Paper Saving Committee

The Paper saving committee in the college was established in 2019 with the purpose to reduce paper consumption in college. The college takes special interest in saving papers, trees and environment. Paper saving committee will try to reduce use of papers in college and encourage the students, officials and faculty members for minimum paper consumption.

Objectives :

Paper saving Committee (PSC) has been created in the college to reduce use of papers. Following are the important objectives of PSC.
  1. To save papers, automatically save trees and environment.
  2. Wasteful behavior towards paper leads to deforestation.
  3. Every 17 reams of A4 paper will need a tree.
  4. Every 8000 pieces of news papers people read daily consumes 11-19 forest trees.
  5. 75% raw materials to produce are woods taken from forests.

Aims :

  1. To maintain a balance of nature by saving trees.
  2. To save money.
  3. To reduce water, air and other pollution.
  4. To reduce impact on forest and climate change emissions.
